Shared Brain roadmap

Rooms first, selected knowledge second.

Shared rooms, roles, agent mentions and run cards are available. The scoped Brain, source grants, Context Packets and Velora Records below are planned features. The public changelog is the source for shipped versions.

Attaching a source — planned flow

  1. Open a room and choose a specific file, repository, channel or other resource.
  2. Review who can access the source, its owner, freshness and whether a room snapshot will be shared.
  3. Publish that reviewed snapshot or source grant. A link alone never shares the authorizer’s credentials.
  4. Use citations to reopen the exact page, section, sheet, row or cell, subject to a fresh permission check.

Private chat is chat only. “Remember this” in a private chat saves only after review to local private memory. A shared room proposes a room save; a manager must publish it before agents retrieve it. Project and organization membership never follow from a room invitation.

Records import — planned flow

Choose a CSV or XLSX file, review its columns and typed field mapping, inspect duplicate candidates, then confirm a bounded import. Initial external sync will be read only. Updating a source system will require a revision check and approval. AI-generated fields will remain source-linked proposals until a person accepts them.

Handoff to another room — planned flow

Review a summary of the goal, decisions, verified work and open questions before posting. The destination room’s packet will be rebuilt under its own permissions; inaccessible source references are removed. Current context import already lets you review a short summary before sharing it into a room in the development line.

Revocation and permissions — planned flow

Disconnecting a connector or revoking a source will stop future retrieval, invalidate queued actions and caches, and mark citations stale. Forget will remove retrievable text while retaining a redacted audit marker. External sends, posts, calendar changes, merges and destructive edits will continue to require approval.
