Business and mail
Draft privately, review the exact action.
Rooms remain Work’s starting point. Open Business through navigation or search when you need private customer work. Its six playbooks cover Email Triage, Speed-to-Lead, Quote Builder, Invoice Chaser, Review Responder drafts, and Morning Brief.
Connect your mailbox
- Open Business → Setup → Email, then expand Advanced.
- Choose your provider. Check the account address and incoming/outgoing server details.
- Enter a provider app password locally where required, then Connect mailbox and Test. Never send a password in chat.
Credentials stay in the operating system vault. Gmail browser consent is a restricted pilot for approved testers; it requires Velora sign-in and Google consent. Until Google review and live acceptance pass, Advanced IMAP/SMTP is the public fallback. Gmail mailbox event polling is unavailable.
Alpha.92 verification status: Final mail delivery, reconnect/disconnect, and queued-action acceptance checks are incomplete after connection timeouts. Windows hardware and two-machine checks are pending. Review the release notes before relying on this early alpha for business sends.
Provide verified facts
Add your owner-approved prices, tone, and selected sources. An invoice reminder needs invoice ID, due date, currency, balance, and payment evidence. A booking reply needs a verified booking link and availability; Velora asks for missing inputs. A model-produced draft still needs your review.
Review sends and outcomes
Sends pause for an exact preview of recipients, subject, plain body, and PDF attachment digest. A materially changed draft must be reviewed again. The Outcome panel shows saved documents, Records, approvals, and mail submission receipts. Confirmed submission means the provider accepted the request; delivery is checked separately.
If a submission is uncertain, check the provider’s Sent folder and recipient before attempting anything else. Automatic retries are blocked. Do not assume an error means nothing was sent.
Records, schedules, and disconnect
Private follow-ups appear in Records → Private, with their source keys and dated history. They are not automatically published into organization Records or rooms. Share only a reviewed summary with a permitted audience.
New automations start off. An explicitly enabled IMAP trigger may poll while the app is available; disabling it or disconnecting stops its mailbox polling. Disconnect removes the local credential and blocks future retrieval and queued actions. If Google revocation fails, Velora reports that separately; remove its grant from your Google Account connections.
