Work in your folders, find your way faster

Start tasks in Documents and other ordinary folders with one agent. A simpler sidebar keeps projects, shared chats, and recent conversations easy to find.

  • Fixed

    Projects → Documents → New task now starts a single-agent task in that folder. Previous swarm settings no longer turn an ordinary folder task into a failed Git-only run.

  • Improved

    The sidebar brings New chat and Search to the top, groups tasks under Projects, and separates Shared chats from Recents. The duplicate project switcher is gone, and More tools stays collapsed on Home.

    New chat reliably opens the chat composer. Choosing Single agent clears previous swarm settings.

    Allow once works on older installations whose approval history uses the legacy database format. Existing history and permissions are preserved.

    Swarm tasks explain when a Git repository is required before starting. Choose a repository inside Documents for a swarm, or use Single agent for the folder itself.

    Verified a real ZCode task in Documents, including an approved file write. The custom icons, model controls, and team and shared-chat setup from beta.7 remain included. macOS packages are signed and notarized; Windows installers remain unsigned.
