Updates you hear about, and a quick chat that stays private.

Velora tells you when an update is ready, screenshots ask macOS properly, and private mode keeps menus and tooltips inside the quick chat.

• New

Velora checks for updates when it opens and every six hours, sends one notification per new version, and the menu-bar icon offers the update. Nothing downloads or restarts until you choose to.

• Fixed

The first screenshot from quick chat now brings up macOS's permission prompt and adds Velora to Screen & System Audio Recording, instead of sending you to Settings to find an entry that wasn't there yet.

• Improved

Private mode keeps the quick chat's menus inside the panel and turns its tooltips off, so a full-screen capture shows none of it. On macOS 15 and earlier a full-screen share may still show Velora; share a single window there.

• Fixed

The Appearance reset notice no longer covers the quick chat, and appears once per reset rather than at every launch.
