Velora, on a diet
Same interface, dramatically cheaper to run. Launches stop parsing megabytes of unused editor code, working agents no longer drive constant background refreshes, and a hidden window costs almost nothing. Measured on the packaged app: memory drops 735 MB → 559 MB, and startup settles in about ten seconds instead of forty-five.
- Improved
The diff viewer loads on first use from a language-free editor bundle — startup code shrinks from 9.9 MB to 2 MB and the language workers leave the build entirely
- Improved
The workflow canvas is a separate chunk a launch never parses
- Improved
Live refreshes are paced by how fast data moves: the task snapshot stays live while missions, highlights and the inbox refresh at most every five seconds
- Improved
A hidden window skips worker, presence, and shared-state polls, and changing screens no longer re-asks the daemon for data still on screen
